Royal commentators have weighed into the secrecy surrounding a three-year-old Palace investigation into bullying allegations against Meghan Markle which has not been publicly released.
Australian-born Samantha Cohen, who spent 18 years working for the Firm, revealed to the Herald Sun in a wide-ranging interview earlier this month she was one of 10 aides interviewed by the Palace as part of the investigation.
News.com.au Entertainment Reporter Bronte Coy told Sky News on Sunday night Ms Cohen had worked “very closely” with Queen Elizabeth II for 17 years and then was seconded to Harry and Meghan for only about 18 months before leaving royal duties altogether. She said prior to Ms Cohen’s interview, no details about the allegations had been released, “other than Harry and Meghan’s denial”.
According to the Herald Sun, the Queen asked Ms Cohen to be the private secretary to the Duke and Duchess of Sussex after she helped organise the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting in London in 2018.
