Former L.A. News Correspondent Bruce Hensel Arrested On Felony Child Sexual-Exploitation Charge

The former part-time actor who’s now an independent writer and producer is charged with requesting the images from the daughter of an acquaintance through a messaging app on or about August 4, prosecutors said.The Los Angeles Police Department said Hensel, 71, was arrested Wednesday morning in Beverly Hills and charged with contact with a minor for sexual purposes. He was released from the’s Metropolitan Detention Center around 5 p.m. after posting $5,000 bail. No court date was announced.
