When contacted, Selangor Fire and Rescue Department director Norazam Khamis said that Jalan Masjid Tanjung Karang, Pekan Tg Karang and Taman Kopema were affected.
"The incident involved a barrier that was broken during upgrading works and water spilled over to the road and nearby housing areas," he said.A senior citizen was moved to a nearby family member's house due to the minor flooding. "No evacuation centres have been activated. The situation is under control and water levels are receding," he said.
