Keen Hoo-Kok Leong came from behind to beat Thailand’s Kritsanut Lertsattayathorn-Jongrak Boonrod 4-2 in the final at the High Snooker Club in Cheras.

The Malaysian duo won the world amateur title for the first time in Karachi, Pakistan seven years ago. Prior to the World Team Championship, Keen Hoo and Kok Leong reached the semi-finals of the Asian 6-reds snooker championship at the same venue two weeks ago. Kok Leong also bagged the 6-reds snooker singles gold at the Hanoi SEA Games in May, while Keen Hoo won bronze in the same event.
