ILOILO CITY – The Department of Tourism (DOT) has wrapped up a survey among tourists at world-famous Boracay Island.

“We wanted to measure our tourism products and performances in Boracay, which is a premier destination in the country,” said DOT-6 Director Crisanta Marlene Rodriguez. The DOT-6 and the DOT-Office of Tourism Development, Planning, Research, and Information Management conducted the Tourism Product Market Survey in coordination with the local government of Malay town, Aklan province.
“We needed to know what the thoughts of tourists — their experiences and what they think should be improved,” Rodriguez told Manila Bulletin.Filipino and foreign tourists were surveyed by 10 enumerators in key places in the resort-island.
