Sabah Barisan Nasional believes its candidate, Datuk Mohamad Alamin , has a fighting chance to take the Kimanis seat on Jan 18.
He said that Sabah Barisan's campaign workers have been able to reach out to voters in the 19 polling districts, and the responses had been positive. “I believe we can pull through as there is a feel good factor in favour of Barisan, ” he said, while accusing their rival Warisan of using money politics.“Why is Bersih keeping so quiet now? When Barisan was the government, they made so many of accusations about free and fair elections, ” he said.
He added that such a move would intimidate voters even though the EC had said that it would focus on the voters marking the ballots.
