BEAUFORT: Sabah Barisan Nasional believes its candidate, Datuk Mohamad Alamin, has a fighting chance to take the Kimanis seat on Jan 18.
“We still consider ourselves the underdogs but we are confident, ” said Sabah Barisan chairman and state Umno chief Datuk Bung Moktar Radin.
Riding on a campaign of “ubah balik” to Umno, he said the feedback of the people remained positive as many of them were already"disillusioned" with Pakatan Harapan's unkept election promises. He also reiterated that Umno was against the move to put up video cameras at all polling district streams by the Election Commission.
