Bjak has issued a statement insisting that its road tax renewal is an optional service for its customers. This comes as a response to the road transport

department's own statement that was released yesterday, which revealed that the particular service offered by the platform is not authorised by the department nor the ministry of transport.

Despite which, Bjak says its road tax renewal service continues to operate as usual, and is now offering it at no charge. According to the platform, this change is offered as part of an initiative to make renewal easier and cost-effective for its customers.Elaborating further, the company said its free road tax campaign is part of a private initiative aimed at increasing customer value and is not related to any government mandate.
