Unemployment rose sharply toward the end of Donald Trump’s term.

PHILADELPHIA: US president Joe Biden on Monday took shots at his likely 2024 rival, Donald Trump, in a Labor Day speech aimed at shoring up support in Pennsylvania, a state he needs to win next year to retain the White House.

US unemployment fell after Trump took office as president in January 2017, and the jobs market saw robust growth during much of his administration. That drew a response from union leadership, after the National Labor Relations board said on Friday it would investigate UAW claims that General Motors and Chrysler parent Stellantis were not bargaining in good faith, assertions that the automakers deny.

Rebuilding crumbling infrastructure has been a part of Biden’s pitch to voters, with a $1 trillion infrastructure law pumping money into projects built with union labour.

The speech consists 4 parts. Part 1-Why re-create Sabah--The past. Part 2- Hajiji’s -creation of Sabah. Part 3.- Solutions for major infrastructure problems. Part 4- Hajiji’s New Sabah. Exciting opportunities Most points in my speech are public facts and can be verified in the press and google. Part 1-Why re-create Sabah-The past. Soonest Hajiji was sworn in as CM, he was confronted with many serious problems. Some of which are: [a] Sabah has been in an economic doldrum since the mid-1980s [almost 40 years]. We were the No. 2 state in Malaysia, only behind Selangor, but has since sunk to the bottom position. Economic growth has been stunted with the lowest household income and highest rate of unemployment. Thousands of young Sabahans have migrated to W Malaysia and Singapore to seek jobs and better pay.
