He added that the Umno central committee would review feedback and recommendations submitted by state and division leaders. "This includes a proposal to raise the age limit for Puteri Umno members to 40 years and to change the method of electing Umno’s top leadership.

Najib 'shadow director' of SRC, says lawyer in lawsuit against Umno and Selangor UmnoDatuk Seri Najib Razak was the 'shadow director' of SRC International Sdn Bhd and personally involved in handing out cheques worth RM16mil and RM3.5mil to Umno and Selangor Umno, the High Court here was told. Lawyer Razlan Hadri Zulkifli, representing SRC and its subsidiaries, said the monies received by the defendants (Umno and Selangor Umno) were through cheques issued by Jendela Pinggiran. He said the directors and authorised signatories of Jendela Pinggiran issued blank cheques, giving 'carte blanche' to Najib who then handed the cheques over to the two defendants. 'Evidence will show that Najib was the shadow director of SRC and his knowledge of the source of funds and the manner of its use or abuse will be imputed on the defendants.'
