GEORGE TOWN : Bekas Exco Kerajaan Negeri Pulau Pinang, Phee Boon Poh menjadi veteran DAP terbaharu yang menarik diri daripada menyertai pemilihan Jawatankuasa Tertinggi Pusat (CEC) parti itu bulan depan.

“Ramai veteran parti akan mengingati bagaimana kami perlu memastikan obor terus menyala dan jentera parti berfungsi walaupun dana dan tenaga kerja kami terhad pada masa itu. Selain Boon Poh, dua lagi veteran iaitu Penasihat Kebangsaan DAP, Tan Kok Wai dan Bendahari Kebangsaan parti itu, Fong Kui Lun juga telah mengumumkan penarikan diri mereka dalam pemilihan tersebut sebelum ini.
