Batman famously refuses to kill anyone - even Joker - but his new weapon isn't just lethal, it's powerful enough to kill an elephant with one shot.
Summary SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY SCROLL TO CONTINUE WITH CONTENT As Batman leaves Earth for the first time, he's revealing a new gadget that puts a lethal spin on his weaponry from the Arkham game series. Batman: Off-World is a new story that canonically reveals Bruce Wayne's first time off-planet, as Batman encounters alien life, distant planets, and the dangers of the cosmos for the first time.
In a preview shared by ComicBook.com, fans can see some key moments from Jason Aaron and Doug Mahnke's comic. As Batman faces the villainous captain of the War Storm, he powers up his Shock Gloves to a whopping 10,000 volts - way more than enough to kill the average human. Unfortunately, it doesn't make a dent, and he's immediately knocked unconscious.
The Shock Gloves were a major weapon in the Arkham games, and fans could use them to permanently knock out enemies in the iconic fluid-combat system. Arkham Origins revealed that Bruce reverse-engineered his gloves from the Electrocutioner after beating the Z-list villain in battle.
Thrown in the deep end of a world he doesn't recognize, Batman will have to adjust like never before in order to topple a villain who just took 10,000 volts to the face and didn't flinch. Of course, the Shock Gauntlets aren't the only weapon Batman is taking into space...
