A Malaysian bag designer, Kai Hung, is thrilled after discovering that his creation was worn by Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim during the unveiling of the 2025 Budget.
A bag designer has expressed his joy after learning that his bag design was worn by Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim for the 2025 Budget. Through a TikTok share from @kaihungofficial, the designer, known as Kai Hung, said he initially had no idea who the bag was for. 'I kept this secret for a long time, but I can finally reveal it. I never imagined something like this would happen. It's the most unforgettable moment of my career as a bag designer ,' he said.
According to him, he usually doesn't take custom orders that need to be made entirely, but upon someone's request, he accepted it. 'Initially, I thought the bag was for her (woman), but she told me it was for someone else. Her identity was kept secret from me and she as the middleman. To be honest, I didn't think who the individual was. The bag design should also represent the diversity of Malaysian culture,' he said. It is understood that he used songket fabric with sari as the lining and added his touches as a designer of Chinese descent. It also has a logo on the inside of the bag. Best of all, it turns out that PM himself wore it :D Like Facebook, follow Twitter and Instagram SAYS Seismik and get all the 'must share' stories now!
