Bacaan hujan 4 hari di Johor tertinggi pernah dicerap sejak 1991
Ketua Pengarah Jabatan Pengairan dan Saliran Dr Md Nasir Md Noh berkata bacaan itu juga melebihi purata hujan bulanan jangka panjang bagi bulan Mac untuk Johor iaitu 195mm.
“Taburan hujan yang tinggi ini menyebabkan pelepasan air bermula 28 Februari sehingga kini dengan kawasan yang terkesan ialah Pekan Yong Peng, Ladang Chaah, Jalan Yong Peng-Segamat , Kampung Haji Kamisan dan kawasan Sungai Temehil. Beliau berkata berikutan hujan lebat berterusan di kawasan tadahan melibatkan beberapa empangan di Johor, JPS membuat pelepasan empangan mengikut tatacara prosedur operasi standard operasi empangan.
