Joseph Seiders, drummer for Canadian indie rock band The New Pornographers, has been arrested and charged with possessing child sex abuse materials, authorities said.
BIDOR: Perikatan Nasional ’s candidate for the Ayer Kuning by-election, Abd Muhaimin Malek , will only declare his assets if he officially becomes the state assemblyman , says Datuk Idris Ahmad .
The PAS vice-president said there was no need for the candidate to declare his assets at this stage as he is not currently holding any government position."He has never held any government posts, has never been a state assemblyman or an executive council member, so there is no purpose for him to declare anything now," he said in a press conference on Monday .
"It does not mean that we are afraid, once he becomes part of the government, then he can declare," he added. Parti Sosialis Malaysia's KS Bawani had publicly declared her assets at Pasar Tani Tapah to demonstrate her commitment to transparency and accountability on Sunday."That way, we can know from the starting point how much wealth they have when they begin their role as an assemblyman.Separately, Idris said Perikatan will unveil their"campaign offer", instead of a manifesto, for the constituency during a live session on TikTok at 10pm on Monday.
