THE Yang di-Pertuan Agong has advised all political party candidates and supporters to adopt a civil approach throughout the campaign period for the general election . In a statement issued today, Comptroller of the Royal Household Ahmad Fadil Shamsuddin said the King also urged all candidates to compete in a healthy manner by avoiding offensive campaigns as well as complying with legal guidelines and regulations stipulated by the authorities, particularly the Election Commission and police.
