Thousands of participants from the Bank Jateng Friendship Run Makassar enliven the running event which is part of the Borobudur Marathon series. The jargon Asse're (unity) echoes. This is a call to maintain unity.

This year marks the second time that the Bank Jateng Friendship Run has been held in Makassar. Of the 10 cities across Indonesia where the event is held, Makassar is the seventh. As part of the Borobudur Marathon series, the Friendship Run is eagerly anticipated by runners. Among the participants was Azzamy , a special needs student. Sitting in a wheelchair pushed by his father Abu Azzam , he seemed to be enjoying himself. Some runners continued to accompany him even though their pace slowed down several times."If she found out that I joined a running event without inviting her, she would definitely be angry. She loves to join me in running. She has even become close with many runners from various communities.
Pramita Ayu and Elyakin , for example. Ayu is an employee of Bank Panin and Elyakin is an employee of Bank BRI. As workers, their companies are certainly competitive. However, they became friends in a running community.
