Makassar is the seventh city out of 10 cities in Indonesia where the Bank Jateng Friendship Run 2023 will be held. For the second time it has been held in this city, the demand is still high.

On Saturday , participants arrived to pick up clothing and equipment. According to the plan, the running route will start from the Mandala Monument and pass through the main roads in Makassar, including the iconic Losari Beach area. Two Bank Jateng Friendship Run participants took a photo together after collecting their running gear and attributes in Makassar on Saturday . The Friendship Run, which is part of the Borobudur Marathon this year, is held in 10 cities in Indonesia.
"Those who participate in De'Tour usually also participate in the Friendship Run. The hope is to join the Borobudur Marathon as well. De'Tour is not just about running, but also to further strengthen the bonds between the running community and share experiences," said Irman, Coordinator of Indo Runners Makassar."Participants of De'Tour passed through the Center Point of Indonesia area on Saturday . In recent years, this area has become a new icon of Makassar.
