Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim arrived in Davos, Switzerland for a three-day working visit and to attend the World Economic Forum (WEF) 2025 annual meeting. He will join government and business leaders, as well as civil society representatives to discuss efforts to address global and regional challenges through enhanced global cooperation.
PETALING JAYA: Perdana Menteri, Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim tiba di Davos Switzerland untuk lawatan kerja selama tiga hari serta menghadiri Sidang Kemuncak Tahunan Forum Ekonomi Dunia 2025.
Ketibaan beliau di lapangan terbang disambut oleh Wakil Tetap Malaysia ke Pertubuhan Bangsa-Bangsa Bersatu di Geneva, Datuk Nadzirah Osman; Wakil Tetap Malaysia ke Pertubuhan Perdagangan Dunia , Syahril Syazli Ghazali dan Kuasa Usaha Sementara Kedutaan Malaysia Bern, Ahmad Benyamine Noor Rahimin. Sepanjang lawatan, Anwar akan diiringi oleh Menteri Pelaburan, Perdagangan dan Industri, Tengku Datuk Seri Zafrul Abdul Aziz; Menteri Pengajian Tinggi, Datuk Seri Zambry Abdul Kadir dan Menteri Digital, Gobind Singh Deo.
Anwar juga akan mengadakan taklimat media bertajuk “Unlocking ASEAN’s Digital Future: Driving Inclusive Growth and Global Competitiveness”, menumpukan Perjanjian Rangka Kerja Ekonomi Digital ASEAN dan peluang transformasi ekonomi digital. Anwar juga dijadual menyertai majlis makan tengah hari santai bagi kalangan pemimpin WEF dan kemudian menyampaikan ucap tama pada sesi Pleno ASEAN bertajuk “Even Stronger Together”.
