Prime Minister Anthony Albanese has shrugged off the furore surrounding his $10 Bahn Mi lunch last week which was blasted as out of touch during a cost-of-living crisis.

Mr Albanese shared two images of himself grabbing lunch around the corner from his Grayndler office in Sydney's inner west, with the caption “nothing like the original Marrickville Pork Roll”.for rising costs including food, which has made take away out of reach for many.
