Light to moderate rains will prevail across several parts of the country due to the northeast monsoon (amihan) and the localized thunderstorms, state weather bureau PAGASA said Friday.
In its 4 p.m. bulletin, the weather agency said amihan continues to affect extreme Northern Luzon and is expected to spur partly cloudy to cloudy skies with light rains in Batanes and Babuyan Islands.
Partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms are forecast over Metro Manila and the rest of the country due to the localized thunderstorms. Moderate to strong winds, with moderate to rough waters, will prevail over the eastern section of Luzon and Visayas while the rest of the country will have light to moderate winds and slight to moderate coastal waters. The sun will rise over Metro Manila at 6:02 a.m. Saturday.
