The family of Mongolian model Altantuya Shaariibuu is urging the Malaysian government to conduct a thorough investigation into allegations made in an affidavit filed by former Special Action Unit (UTK) member Azilah Hadri. Azilah's affidavit states the involvement of high-ranking government officials in ordering a covert operation to kill and dispose of Altantuya's remains. The family's lawyer, Sangeet Kaur Deo, says the affidavit contains very serious allegations that challenge the integrity of public institutions, particularly the Royal Malaysian Police (PDRM). They demand a detailed investigation, as the affidavit has not been rejected by the Attorney General's Chambers.
