All Five Victims of Kuching Crash Identified as Police Probe Underage Driver's Role

The victims of a fatal multi-vehicle collision in Kuching, Sarawak, have been identified. The accident involved two Proton Sagas, a Toyota Altis, and two motorcycles. Among the deceased were two 16-year-old male students who were passengers in one of the cars. The driver of that car, also a 16-year-old student, survived with injuries. Police are investigating the case under the Road Transport Act 1987 for reckless or dangerous driving causing death.

Among the deceased were two male students, both aged 16, who were passengers in the first Proton Saga. The 16-year-old driver of the vehicle, also a student, survived with cuts to his chin, hands, and right leg. He is still being treated at SGH. Wan Khairul Nizam Wan Kadir, 40, the rider of the second motorcycle, was pronounced dead at the scene.He is also being treated in the hospital’s Green Zone.
