“I’m angry because he has spent the last year talking about referendums to virtue signal about recognition of Indigenous people in the Constitution while this has been simmering for a really long time,” she told Sky News host Chris Kenny.

“Then when violence breaks out and crime breaks out in the streets of Alice Springs, he takes his time meandering his way up to Alice Springs for a quick fly-in-fly-out visit. “It seems he’s been more interested in taking selfies with his dog on the couch than he has about the safety of the people who live in town.”
