Anthony Albanese has used a joint press conference to snub the NSW Premier ahead of the state election as he mocked Peter Dutton over the Federal Liberal leader’s unpopularity with voters.
While the state election is still more than two months away, both Mr Perrottet and Labor leader Chris Minns have hit the campaign trail with a slew of announcements.
Anthony Albanese made it clear to his state counterpart that he would not receive a prime ministerial endorsement at the upcoming election.“I get on quite well with this bloke,” Mr Albanese said pointing to the Premier. While the pair smiled and joked at the Prime Minister’s blatant and expected snub, Mr Albanese went further and laid down the gauntlet for Mr Perrottet as he mocked Peter Dutton's counterpart’s polling woes.
