Appearing in Leppington in Western Sydney on Monday morning, the defiant premier hit out at comments made by former Labor premier Bob Carr, who had called him “unelectable” following the costume drama.

The Bob Carr Labor government, and we are still cleaning up that mess.”Mr Perrottet is approaching the state election in March with a signature policy proposing to make the state’s poker machines cashless. This will require the use of a cashless card that also includes daily limits.
He has targeted the stamp duty with a signature policy offering first home buyers the choice to pay it or an annual property tax, in a move which he says will shave about two years off the time most buyers need to save for a home.Opposition Leader Chris Minns has pledged to immediately repeal the policy, vowing instead to help first home buyers with an extension to an existing stamp duty exemption.
