Akron Children’s Hospital is inviting the public to tour its new facilities in Mayfield Heights and Beachwood on Saturday.
Akron Children’s is expanding its footprint in Greater Cleveland with a new outpatient surgery center in Beachwood, pictured here. The new surgery center will initially provide pediatric gastroenterology, and orthopedic and ear, nose and throat surgeries. There are plans to add other pediatric surgical specialties by early 2025.
“We think we can address an unmet need by making our pediatric specialists and surgeons more accessible,” said Akron Children’s CEO Chris Gessner.open houses on Saturday, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
