PETALING JAYA: Water supply to 84 of the 274 areas affected by the unscheduled water disruption has been restored on Wednesday (Oct 7).

As of 11am, the Hulu Langat area recorded 58% water supply recovery, while Kuala Langat and Petaling recorded 55% and 43% water supply recovery respectively.

The Sungai Semenyih water treatment plant resumed operations after samples tested at its intake point recorded 0 TON on Oct 6, and water supply was then channelled to the users in stages.
