Water supply in some areas in Selangor affected by the Sungai Semenyih pollution, was restored since early this morning.

In a statement, the company said this accounts for 17% of the total areas affected by the disruption caused by the suspension of operations of the Sungai Semenyih and Bukit Tampoi water treatment plants due to pollution. A total of 228 areas in Petaling, Hulu Langat, Kuala Langat, Sepang and Putrajaya still do not have water.

Yesterday, Air Selangor said water supply in the state is expected to be restored starting from midnight.
