Malaysian activist Fahmi Reza, known for his satirical artwork, has been detained in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, to assist in investigations under the Sedition Act 1948. This follows the recent placement of satirical cartoons featuring Sabah's newly appointed Governor, Tun Musa Aman, which led to over 30 police reports against Fahmi for alleged incitement.
Fahmi Reza merupakan nama aktivis yang tidak asing lagi khususnya dalam isu politik negara.
Fahmi Reza Ditahan Di Kota Kinabalu Terkini, pereka grafik tersebut telah ditahan bagi membantu siasatan kes di bawah Akta Hasutan 1948 selepas memberi keterangan di Ibu Pejabat Polis Penampang, Kota Kinabalu semalam . Jelasnya, laporan yang dibuat melibatkan tindakan Fahmi menampal karikatur melibatkan imej Tun Musa Aman di beberapa kawasan termasuk Kota Kinabalu, selain melibatkan hasutan yang sedang disiasat.
Hantaran terakhir olehnya menjelaskan dia sedang dalam perjalanan ke balai polis bagi sesi soal siasat.Fahmi dalam itu berkata dia disiasat di bawah Seksyen 4 Akta Hasutan 1948, Akta Komunikasi dan Multimedia 1998 dan Seksyen 504 Kanun Keseksaan.Fahmi Pernah Disoal Siasat Di Bukit Aman Fahmi pada 19 Disember lalu telah dipanggil ke Ibu Pejabat Polis Bukit Aman untuk disoal siasat berhubung imej satira bekas Ketua Menteri Sabah paling lama berkhidmat itu.
