PETALING JAYA: Doubles shuttlers Aaron Chia-Soh Wooi Yik fall in the final hurdle again after losing to Liang Weikeng-Wang Chang in the China Open in Changzhou on Sunday (Sept 10).
Aaron-Wooi Yik's campaign ended in only 26 minutes as home pair Weikeng-Wang Chang went on an aggressive mode from the start to secure a 21-12, 21-14 win over the Malaysians in the men's doubles final.
The defeat means that the 2022 world champions Aaron-Wooi Yik have yet to win an Open title since playing together as a pair.
