I READ an article on social media about a programme called “Prihatin Jom KeSekolah” , which I would like to share with all.
This programme was initiated by the Parent-Teacher Association of SK Seri Permai in George Town to provide secondhand school uniforms to impoverished families. Imagine the amount that would need to be spent on new uniforms by a family that has four schoolgoing children – especially in the light of current economic conditions!
