PETALING JAYA: Barisan Nasional winning the Chenderiang seat in the 15th General Election (GE15) despite facing stiff competition shows that the coalition still has support from a diverse voter base, says Datuk Seri Dr Wee Ka Siong.

The MCA president said that Barisan's candidate Choong Shin Heng, who managed to win the state seat in GE15 was proof that Barisan had strong support from different races in the Tapah parliamentary constituency due to its excellent service record.

"I hope that the Chenderiang service centre launched on Sunday will also improve the service quality of Barisan and MCA representatives as well as continue to fight for the interests of the people.
