Old Bridge resident Nina Jochnowitz, who is running for town council, posted images of the pasta mess to her Facebook page on April 26 and alerted town officials, but to no avail. “THEY GOT THE MESSAGE!!! The township came and cleaned up the entire river basin,” Jochnowitz said inThe estimated 500 pounds of cooked pasta was enough to fill 15 wheelbarrows, according to Old Bridge Business Administrator Himanshu Shah. He credited the town’s Department of Public Works for cleaning up the hundreds of pounds of spaghetti, macaroni and noodles.
