Here are five fast food chains that have joined the Menu Rahmah initiative:
Let’s be real, money has always been a concern for most people. Especially after the pandemic and local natural disasters, many people have been attempting to budget better and tighten their belts. Well, a month ago, the government launched an initiative to help with that.
Early February, the Menu Rahmah program was introduced. According to the initiative, local restaurants and food stalls operators would voluntarily provide well-balanced, daily meals which should not exceed RM5.00 per meal. Plenty of F&B owners have since joined the initiative, including these five fast food restaurants! It was recently reported that McDonald’s has launched their Menu Rahmah. Customers can choose between two burgers, a bowl of porridge and each meal comes with an iced tea.
Domestic Trade and Cost of Living Minister Datuk Seri Salahuddin Ayub has reportedly added that more companies are intending to join the initiative, including Pizza Hut. In the meantime, feel free to enjoy the rest of these meals!
