AEON launches Rahmah Raya programme under Payung Rahmah initiative

PUTRAJAYA: In conjunction with Ramadan and Hari Raya Aidilfitri festivities, AEON Co (M) Bhd has launched the Rahmah Raya AEON as part of the Payung Rahmah programme to help people cope with the rising cost of living while stimulating the country's economy.

Domestic Trade and Cost of Living Minister Datuk Seri Salahuddin Ayub said having a big name such as AEON under Payung Rahmah was a clear sign of the programme's continued success."We are touched and thankful for the commitment and contributions made by industry players under this initiative.

Rahmah Raya AEON was one of the initiatives in their ecosystem especially for Ramadan and Hari Raya preparations. This donation amounting to RM168,000 consisted of daily necessities as well as Ramadan and Aidilfitri preparations and would be delivered to 1,140 B40 families and the poor for three months.
