The Ministry of Women, Family and Community Development (MWFCD) through the National Welfare Foundation (YKN) says they will continue to expand the Local Social Support Center (PSSS) program in every state this year. The program offers holistic psychosocial services to the community, including counseling sessions. MWFCD Minister Datuk Seri Nancy Shukri highlighted the importance of addressing mental health issues, which are not limited to adults but also affect students experiencing pressure from family, academic, or environmental factors. She also mentioned the success of bringing the PSSS program to hospitals, where 96 staff members attended a session within an hour of its opening.
