Menurut beliau, tema tersebut ringkas tapi mengandung makna yang luas dan sangat sesuai dengan aspirasi gereja yang mana umatnya terdiri daripada pelbagai kaum, budaya dan sosial tetapi hidup bersama dalam keharmonian serta iman Katolik yang sama. Father juga meminta umat untuk mengungkapkan kesyukuran di atas keamanan negara dan meminta umat Katolik menjadi agen damai serta memelihara ciptaan Tuhan.
