PITAS: Sebanyak 160 rumah setinggan yang telah ditinggalkan penghuninya di Kampung Agas Tiga, Tarok dekat sini dirobohkan dalam satu operasi bersepadu, pada Khamis.

Rumah-rumah tersebut, yang sebelum ini didiami oleh pendatang tanpa izin dan segelintir orang tempatan, didirikan di tanah milik Lembaga Kemajuan Perhutanan Negeri Sabah dan tanah rizab hutan untuk kegiatan pasir silika. Ketua Polis Daerah Kota Marudu, Superintendan Zairolnizal Ishak berkata, perobohan itu penting bagi memastikan rumah-rumah tersebut tidak menjadi penempatan PTI atau anasir-anasir luar yang mungkin boleh menggugat keselamatan tanah air.
