8 Monkey D. Dragon Monkey D. Dragon is Luffy's father and one of the most notorious criminals in One Piece's world. In fact, he is even labeled "The World's Worst Criminal" in the original series. Monkey D. Dragon is the Supreme Commander and one of the founding members of the Revolutionary Army, and he seeks above all else to topple the World Government. Monkey D.
5 Dr. Kureha Dr. Kureha is an elderly doctor who resides on Drum Island. She is an ally to the Straw Hat Pirates and Chopper's adoptive mother. Dr. Kureha taught Chopper everything he knows about medicine, along with raising him after he lost his family. She is an excellent character and should be a hoot to watch in One Piece season 2. If Chopper is included in season 2, which seems likely, Dr. Kureha could easily be slotted in next to him.
