The Road Transport Department (JPJ) Terengganu seized 111 vehicles for various offenses during the Chinese New Year 2025 operation from January 20th to last night. A total of 8,682 offenses were detected through inspections of 39,219 vehicles statewide. Among the violations, expired vehicle licenses were the most common with 1,287 cases, followed by a lack of insurance coverage (1,110 cases). Other notable offenses included driving without a Competent Driving License (885 cases), running red lights (720 cases), tinted windows (569 cases), and not wearing helmets (524 cases).

Katanya, sepanjang tempoh itu juga, sebanyak 8,682 kesalahan dikesan hasil pemeriksaan yang dijalankan terhadap 39,219 kenderaan di seluruh negeri ini. “Pemeriksaan ini dijalankan pada 3 Februari lalu di terminal bas Majlis Bandaraya Kuala Terengganu dan syarikat operator bas telah membaiki kerosakan itu dalam tempoh sejam,” katanya selepas meninjau operasi hari terakhir Op Tahun Baharu Cina 2025 di sini, malam tadi.
