A 101-year-old woman from Shah Alam , Selangor, embraced Islam recently after years of being preached to by her son. Mohd Daud Leong, a lawyer, had been inviting his mother, Lee Bee Har, to Islam for years. Lee Bee Har's acceptance came after a long period of persuasion and she stated that she chose to convert on her own accord. Firdaus Wong Wai Hung, President of the Multiracial Converts Association (MRM), shared the heartwarming news on Facebook.
He assisted Lee Bee Har in reciting the Kalimah Syahadah in Arabic and then translated its meaning into Cantonese. Mohd Daud Leong then embraced and kissed his mother, a moment filled with joy and gratitude
