According to reports, 10 BN parliament members have changed their minds about supporting Muhyiddin Yassin, from the Perikatan Nasional party, for the position of Malaysia’sclaims that they withdrew their support yesterday at 2 p.m. by sending SDs to the Palace via e-mail. It was also verified that this served as the foundation for the palace’s statement yesterday, which asserted that neither the coalition nor Pakatan Harapan had the confidence of the majority of Dewan Rakyat members.

Earlier, Muhyiddin stated that the Yang di-Pertuan Agong proposed that PN and PH work together to create a unity government. He claims that he disagreed with this, because PN has always insisted that it will not work with PH.
NST was also informed by a source that the act of withdrawal by the 10 parliament members was made clandestinely after the plot’s mover had got in touch with Tan Sri Abang Johari Tun Openg, the chairman of the Gabungan Parti Sarawak , through an agent who had allegedly misled him into believing that 18 Umno leaders were with them to endorse PN.
