Tourists behaving badly have forced Fujikawaguchiko Town in Yamanashi Prefecture to install a new six-meter-long fence outside the Lawson Kawaguchiko Ekimae convenience store . The fence aims to curb unruly behavior that has plagued the site, including littering, jaywalking, and blocking access to a nearby clinic. Previously, the town attempted to address the issue by installing a black curtain and a protective fence, but these measures failed to resolve the ongoing problems.
The new fence will block views from the store's entrance, deemed necessary to protect locals and ensure safety
