JEDDAH: Johor Darul Ta'zim's (JDT) hopes of becoming the first Malaysian club to reach the AFC Champions League (ACL) Elite semi-finals were dashed after a narrow 1-2 defeat to defending champions Al-Ahli on Friday (April 17).

SEGAMAT: The Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission and telecommunications companies have been asked to resolve internet connectivity issues along the KL Sentral-Segamat Electric Train Service route within one month.

Communications Minister Datuk Fahmi Fadzil said the ministry will adopt the principle of ‘di mana ada tren, di situ ada internet’ in efforts to improve internet coverage along the route.

He said this is an extension of the previously used principle, 'di mana ada jalan, di situ ada internet’ .

'I hope Keretapi Tanah Melayu Berhad service users will feel more comfortable staying connected or working while travelling to their destinations,” he said during an internet speed testing session on the KL Sentral-Segamat ETS service on Sunday .

Also present were Communications Ministry secretary-general Datuk Abdul Halim Hamzah and MCMC managing director Abdul Karim Fakir Ali. – Bernama
