Hospital Pakar Universiti Sains Malaysia (HPUSM) has rebranded its infertility services, offering IVF treatments at significantly reduced costs. With prices starting at RM5,680, the hospital aims to make fertility treatments accessible to a broader population, particularly in Kelantan and the East Coast. This initiative reflects HPUSM’s commitment to providing high-quality, affordable healthcare for all.

Dr. Ab. Rahman Izaini Ghani, the director of Hospital Pakar Universiti Sains Malaysia ( HPUSM ), officially launched the rebranding of the hospital’s infertility services in Kota Bharu, Kelantan .

The event highlighted HPUSM’s commitment to providing affordable in-vitro fertilization (IVF) treatments, with costs starting as low as RM5,680, making it one of the most cost-effective options in Malaysia. While this price does not include accommodation and medications, it remains significantly lower than many other providers, opening doors for financially constrained couples to seek fertility treatments. Dr. Ab. Rahman emphasized that although patients are advised to budget RM10,000 for the procedure, actual expenses often fall below this amount.

Over the past five years, HPUSM has treated between 200 to 400 infertility patients annually, and the facility is prepared to accommodate even more. The rebranding aims to raise awareness among the public, particularly in Kelantan and the East Coast region, about the accessibility of these services. Dr. Ab. Rahman noted that fertility treatments were once considered a luxury reserved for the wealthy, but HPUSM is changing this narrative with its motto: ‘Premium quality, affordable prices.

’ The hospital is dedicated to ensuring that high-quality medical care is available to all, regardless of socioeconomic status. This initiative aligns with HPUSM’s broader mission to offer the most affordable medical services in Malaysia, breaking down barriers to essential healthcare
