MANCHESTER, England, April 13 (Reuters) - Leeds United's Noah Okafor scored twice as his side grabbed a morale-boosting 2-1 Premier League away win over bitter rivals Manchester United, who had Lisandro Martinez sent off in the 56th minute for pulling the hair of Dominic Calvert-Lewin.
PORT KLANG : The Border Control and Protection Agency has seized seven containers of frozen chicken and duck products believed to pose a risk of animal diseases such as avian influenza and Newcastle disease. Port Klang AKPS commander Deputy Comm Datuk Nik Ezanee Mohd Faisal said physical inspections were conducted on April 9 at the Container Inspection Site CT2, North Port, Port Klang .
“During the inspection, we detected six containers carrying frozen chicken and one container carrying frozen duck. “All of these goods pose a risk of introducing diseases such as avian influenza and Newcastle disease,” he said at a press conference at the Royal Malaysian Customs Department North Port here on Tuesday .
He added that document checks also found discrepancies between the invoice and packing list and the Notice of Arrival , in addition to halal certificates and health certificates submitted.
According to him, all the goods were seized to prevent the risk of animal disease entry and to ensure food safety and public health are safeguarded. “The case will be handed over to the Malaysian Quarantine and Inspection Services Department for further investigation under the relevant laws,” he said.
He added that AKPS will continue to intensify inspections at ports to ensure import and export controls remain at the highest level.
