Malaysian professional men's badminton pair Ong Yew Sin-Teo Ee Yi secured a stunning victory against the world No. 4 pair, Fajar Alfian-Muhammad Rian Ardianto, in the first round of the Malaysia Open 2025. The No. 24 ranked Malaysian duo triumphed in a rubber set victory (15-21, 21-17, 21-13) in 62 minutes. This win marks a comeback for Yew Sin-Ee Yi after a slump in performance due to Ee Yi's knee injury at the end of 2023.
