Datin Alyah clears up public doubts about her relationship with her adopted daughter's biological father by revealing she is Izzara's foster mother. She also addresses misconceptions about their adoption process and offers advice to couples considering adoption.

Datin Alyah has confirmed she is the foster mother of her adopted daughter , Nur Izzara, clearing up public doubts about the boundaries of her relationship with her husband, Datuk Ramli MS. The 44-year-old, whose full name is Nor Hasliah Abu Hassan, said Ramli, affectionately known as Tok Ram, effectively has the same rights as Izzara's biological father. 'I have breastfed Izzara.

So, between her and Tok Ram (Ramli) have the rights like a biological parent and child,' she said in an Instagram post. In the same post, Alyah also revealed she is Izzara's aunt and apologized for any misunderstandings that arose. 'Zara and I are not strangers, she is my own niece. We did not take Zara from any welfare or orphanage,' she explained. Aware that the responsibility of being foster parents is immense, the singer of the song 'Tak Mungkin Kerna Sayang' offered advice to couples who want to adopt. 'My advice is not to follow what others say or what our hearts desire because what we are taking care of is a soul and a life. This is a big responsibility, it is not easy. Before making any decision, please ask the Almighty,' she explained. Last June, Alyah and Ramli announced they had adopted Nur Izzara after 11 years of marriage. Alyah and Ramli married on March 18, 2013, but have not been blessed with biological children.
