SANDAKAN: 21-year-old Ceelecia Reeka Mosungin was crowned Sandakan 2026 UNK and will represent the district in the state-level UNK competition at KDCA Penampang on May 31.
Ceelecia is a Dusun from Kota Belud who is currently pursuing a Bachelor in Agricultural Science with Honours at Universiti Malaysia Sabah Sandakan Campus. Advertisement Meanwhile, Sandakan 2026 UNK organising chairman Ivy Clara Atian said the competition can be a platform to produce confident, knowledgeable young women who embody cultural values, unity and inspiration, said its district coordinator. According to her, the competition should go beyond beauty but promotes KDMR heritage and strengthens community harmony in the district.
